You will visit Mongolian gobi as known dinosaur’s birth place. In ancient time, Mongolian gobi was full of ocean, so can see 21st century’s nomadic life and  interesting land formations which imprinted from ancient.

ITINERARY

Day 1 st Ikh Nart Natural Reserve

The Ikh Nart Nature Reserve is 66,000 hectares nature reserve area which
locates in Dornogobi aimag (province) of Mongolia. The reserve covers two
soums (counties) – Dalanjargal and Airag that jointly manage the reserve.
Ikh Nart harbors a wide diversity of plant (flora) and animal (fauna) species,
including 33 mammals, 6 reptiles, 125 birds, and over 200 plants.
In the late 1990s, an international team of biologists began studying the
plants and animals of Ikh Nart in conjunction with the Mongolian Academy of
Sciences and local soum (county) government that administers the reserve.
The studies aim to understanding the community ecology of the region and
improve conservation management in the reserve.

Day 3 rd Ikh gazriin chuluu

Ikh Gazriin chuluu locates Gurvansaikhan sum of Middle gobi province,
which is granite rocks. May it is interesting for you to see standing a peak of
1706m high rock in Gobi . they spread out from the west to east covering
about 20kms area. You can spend time amazing land formation.

Day 5 th Tsagaan suvarga

Today drive to Tsagaan suvraga ( White Stupa- 30 meters high, 100 meters wide
limestone) which is located in Ulziit sum, Middle Gobi province. It is shaped
uniquely because of over 10 million years the wind has created this amazing
structure and consist of many color of clay deposits. The name is given White Stupa
because of it looks like Buddhist white stupa as from the east.

Day 7 th Khongor sand dunes

After breakfast we will drive to Khongor sand dunes ( Khongoriin Els). Its
over 100 km long, 3-5 km wide, lowest point 10m high, highest point is 200-
300 m high by the wind. There is a dune which is called Singing dune. When
sand goes down and by strong wind, it makes noise. That’s why it is called
“Singing Dune”. Climbing to the top of the Singing dune in the evening to
see the Great Sunset.

Day 9 th Bayanzag /Flaming Cliffs/

Drive to Bayanzag which is famous dinosaurs birth place all over the
world.This place is popular with the name “Flaming Cliffs”. In 1920’s A
research expedition led by American explorer Roy Chapman Andrews found
dinosaur eggs and skeleton in Bayanzag and he called this sandstone
formation “Flaming Cliffs”

Day 11 th Ulaanbaatar

Day 2nd Ikh Nart Natural Reserve

Day 4th Baga gazriin chuluu

Day 6th Yoliin am (Vulture valley)

Day 8th Khongor sand dunes

Today is leisure day and we will ride Bactrian camel around the dunes with local Mongolian herder guide.

Day 10th Erdenedalai

Erdenedalai is one of small town (Sum) in Middle Gobi province.
Gimpil Darjaalan Khiid is a sightworthy monastery in the town of Erdenedalai, the administration center of the sum. The monastery was built at the end of the 18th century, and about 500 monks lived there. In 1937, it was one of the very few monasteries and temples which were not destroyed under the rule of Communism , but the monastery was closed and used as a store house thereafter. In 1990, it was reopened.
